Community is one of our basic fundamental values. If you can imagine taking people from multiple nations, multiple ethnicities, multiple political opinions, and putting them all together in one small area and say, hey, y'all live together, that says something about what we call the Power of Together. And that is why Graceland is the perfect place for a student to come, if they truly value learning how to live together, in a very diverse community.
For me, like having the housing system, I really feel like from the first day, from the get go, everybody has a place where they belong. Having that group of people you can always be around is really nice. And I feel like shows that we're really connected here.
At Graceland, knowing each student's name is really, really important to all of us. And so having small class sizes, allows our faculty to really get to know who students are and their strengths and all of the different things that go along with that. So the smaller size of the campus the smaller size of the classroom setting is all such an advantage to students.
