When you come to Graceland, there's not really a need to know your major right up front. It's a place where you can explore and discover. And that's built into the program-- that's built into the experiences into the relationships with your fellow students, with your faculty, with the administration. All of those experiences, provide a learning platform for you to bring all of that learning back to the center, use it to catapult you into the rest of your life, and to be successful to connect with people, and to really make the world a better place.
It takes time to know what you want to do in your life, which is why two years into my you know, college experience, I ended up changing my major, and I'm still on track to graduate in four years, which is awesome. And Graceland is really supportive of that. It was never, you know, you can't do this because you won't graduate in time. It was like how can we help you graduate in these four years.
Not only do I want students to come to Graceland and find their passion, because that may change their passion might change, what they're interested in might change. The work world might change, and it is changing around us. So I don't only want you to come to school and find your passion. I want to give you the tools to succeed when your passions change.
