One of the best things about Graceland is that we offer a second campus in the Kansas City metropolitan area. At Gracelands's Kansas City campus, we have lots of programs like Nursing, Education Completion programs, Business and Administration. It's all in this modern facility that is based in a metropolitan area in Kansas City.
Our Elementary Education program on the independence campus is designed for working adults so that they can continue working during the day, and then take classes two nights a week. You are going to have a nice mix of different types of instructors. So some of them are going to be professors, who have their doctorate in education. Others are going to be practicing teachers, who can give you that real world real time experience for what to expect in the classroom.
Here on the Graceland campus, in independence, we have two different undergraduate programs for nursing. We have the accelerated and then we have the traditional. Both at the end of those you're going to get your BSN. The accelerated is our 18 month program. The traditional is a little bit more of a slower paced-- it gives us the two years to work with the students, and allows a little bit more integration into the program. For the online program. We have an RN to BSN bridge the students are walking in with their RN license already. We take them and we give them the necessary classes that's going to get them BSN certified. Whether you want to become a charge nurse or you want to just give that overall better care, your BSN is the right track to go. You should get your BSN at Graceland because we want to create nurses that are not only excelling at the bedside, but can be that patient advocate. And in order to do that we as staff, support students and make sure that they feel like they're getting the education that they can walk away with and be that best nurse.
